The General Meetings are held twice a year at the Kentucky County Attorney Association Conference every February and the Kentucky Prosecutors Conference in August. The Board itself meets monthly either remotely or in person and only alters this schedule to weekly meetings prior to and during the sessions of the Kentucky Legislature.

The Board of the KCAA is elected by the members every two years. The Board serves in their positions as unpaid, voluntary representatives of the members.

Q: What is the purpose of KCAA ~ Who can become a member?
A: Kentucky’s County Attorneys Association is to promote cooperation among Kentucky’s county attorneys:
- To ensure strong and effective prosecution in Kentucky’s justice system;
- To help county attorneys provide sound advice and counsel to all county agencies and organizations they serve;
- To ensure that the mutual interests of county attorneys, their communities, and the state of Kentucky are promoted in all matters.
